Kindergartens and group travel
A headcount should not rest on a roll call alone.
The problem
School buses, field trips and tour groups count heads by calling names. Missing one child is costly, and it is often noticed only after the group has moved on.
Our answer
Everyone wears a label. One scan on the leader's phone shows who is in range and who is not — no network needed, and nobody else needs a phone. When the principal and parents want to see too, the leader switches to the tracking station and the data goes to the backend: the principal sees the whole class's record, and each parent sees only their own child.
The setup
- Wearable sensor labels
- The pocket reader on the group leader's phone: an on-site headcount, with no account or network
- The tracking station instead, when the principal and parents should see too
- The backend: the principal sees the class record, each parent only their own child
